ABOUT TUMWATER: Sid Otton, who has been the head coach at Tumwater since 1974, owns the state record for career wins with 345 over 45 seasons. Senior RB Andrew Brown, who set a 2A state-meet record while winning the 400-meter dash last spring, has scored 23 TDs, including six on kick returns. Junior RB Christian Cummings has scored six of his 10 TDs in the last four games. Tumwater has scored 11 TDs on defense and special teams and recorded two safties.
ABOUT PROSSER: Since a conference loss at Othello in the third week, the Mustangs have won nine straight and they avenged the Othello setback last week with a gritty 15-14 quarterfinal victory. Senior RB Bubba Frank has topped 100 yards in five of the last six games and has a 7.7-yard average per carry. Senior QB Ryan Fassler owns a 67-percent completion rate with 2,651 yards and 34 TDs. Senior WRs Sterling Clark and Danny Raap have scored 15 TDs each and combined for 1,770 yards.
