*** Capital’s Kai Van Sickle become’s the state’s all-time single-season rushing leader after his 162-yard performance Friday in a 48-21 loss to Lynden in the 2A state semifinals at the Tacoma Dome. In 12 games, Van Sickle rushed for 2,761 yards to surpass Interlake’s Jordan Todd (2,681 yards in 2011).
