YAKIMA, Wash. — Eisenhower’s Elise Tello, a three-time Class 4A state cross country medalist, has committed to the University of San Francisco.

Currently the Valley leader in the 1,600 and 3,200, Tello is the CBBN pacesetter in the 3,200 and owns a career best of 11 minutes, 5.45 seconds. She has competed in a total of six state competitions spanning cross country and track.

San Francisco won won five consecutive titles in West Coast Conference women’s cross country and last fall the Dons placed 18th in the NCAA National Championships.

Last week teammate Drew Schreiber committed to the University of Washington.
