Community Health of Central Washington has hired Troy Fleenor as director of information technology and Lana Barnes as director of patient accounts.

Fleenor has more than 20 years of information technology experience as a manager and professional, primarily in Yakima. He previously was information technology manager and senior systems administrator for Solarity Credit Union.

Barnes has more than 25 years of experience in medical management. She previously worked as director of patient financial services for Clinica Family Health Services in Boulder County, Colo.

Pro-Motion Functional Fitness has hired several new employees over the last year.

Marc Laush has served as manager and a personal trainer for the organization for the last year. Laush has a bachelor’s degree in exercise science with a minor in athletic training from Central Washington University

Natalie Nobbs has worked as a personal trainer at Pro-Motion for the last six months. Nobbs, a Yakima native, graduated in 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in exercise science with a minor in entrepreneurship from Seattle Pacific University.

Kirsten Clarke has been hired as a physical therapist. Clarke graduated with a bachelor’s degree in exercise science in 2009 and earned a doctorate of physical therapy from Chapman University in Orange, Calif., in 2012.

Insurance

The Central Washington National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors has named Laurie Kirkland Insurance Agent of the Year. Kirkland, vice president in the employee benefits division of Conover Insurance, was recognized for her commitment to excellence in serving clients and the industry. She has worked with Conover since 1997.

Nonprofit

Erin Black has been selected to serve on the YWCA USA CEO Advisory Council. Black, executive director of YWCA of Yakima, is one of 16 YWCA executives nationwide to be selected for the council, which will provide analysis and input on YWCA’s priorities, performance measures and other strategic initiatives.
