• Wells Fargo has hired Barry Bendall as business banking manager in Central Washington. Bendall, who is based in Yakima, directs nine business banking team members and oversees operations of Wells Fargo’s business banking offices in Yakima, Wenatchee and Kennewick. Bendall, who has more than 30 years of banking experience, most recently worked as a business banking principal relationship manager for Wells Fargo in Tucson, Ariz. He has a bachelor’s degree in management from the University of Phoenix and is a graduate of the College of Retail Bank Management.
• Yakima attorney Terry P. Abeyta has been named to the The Best Lawyers in America list. This is the seventh year in a row that Abetya, of Abeyta Nelson Injury Law, has been named to the list, which includes just 1 percent of all attorneys nationwide.
• The Yakima Association of Realtors has given several community members and real estate agents awards for work done in 2012.
