Maria Abundiz-Guizar, 80, of Yakima died Saturday at Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Abundiz-Guizar was born in La Lima, Michoacan, Mexico, and moved to Yakima in 1979. She was a agriculture laborer for many years.

Survivors include 10 children, Maria Verduzco, Antonio Verduzco, Edelmira Verduzco and Victor Verduzco, all of Mexico, Maria de Jesus Verduzco, Evelia Verduzco, Silvia Verduzco and Manuel Verduzco, all of Yakima, and Enrique Verduzco and Griselda Verduzco, both of California; 56 grandchildren and 48 great-grandchildren.

Viewing will be from noon to 6 p.m. Thursday and from noon until the vigil service at 6 p.m. Friday at Brookside Funeral Home and Crematory in Moxee. Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Yakima. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Yakima.
