Clyde A. Reeves Sr., 71, of Yakima died Saturday at home. Mr. Reeves was born in Denver and later moved to Yakima. He worked as a corrections officer at the Yakima County jail for 26 years.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia Reeves of Yakima; four children, Clyde Reeves II, Hope Decker and Leola Reeves, all of Yakima and Marty Reeves of Riverside, Calif.; two stepchildren, Dean Burckhard of Yakima and Donna Gambill of Spokane; two sisters, Betty Carpenter and Mary Carpenter, both of California; seven grandchildren, a stepgrandson and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Keith and Keith Ninth Avenue Chapel, Yakima. The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday, also at Keith and Keith. Concluding services and burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
