Raymond “Mony” Alvarado, 65, of Wapato died Saturday at Cottage in the Meadow, Yakima.
Mr. Alvarado was born in Lamar, Colo. He served in the Army during the Vietnam War. He retired from Staton Hills Winery as a cellar master.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Alvarado of Wapato; three daughters, Angelina Rivas and Krsytal Eyle, both of Wapato, and Allison Stephens of Yakima; a son, Michael Alvarado of Moxee; and 10 grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 1 to 4 p.m. Wednesday at Merritt Funeral Home in Wapato, with recitation of the rosary at 6:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church in Wapato. Interment will follow in Reservation Community Memorial Park, Wapato.
