Virginia Peabody-Hubbard, 93, of Yakima died Monday.
Mrs. Peabody-Hubbard was born in Mount Gilead, Ohio. She moved to the Yakima Valley when she was a young girl. She farmed with her husband in the Granger area for many years. She worked for Killingstad’s Furniture, Ball-McIntosh Funeral Home and Allstate Insurance.
Survivors include a son, Larry Peabody of Lacey; three daughters, Connie Lovern of Yakima, Lora Mickelsen of Lewiston, Idaho, and Carolyn McIntosh of Simi Valley, Calif.; 12 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at a later date. Arrangements are by Valley Hills Funeral Home and Crematory, Yakima.
