Tony D. Palomarez, 67, of Sunnyside died Friday.

Mr. Palomarez was born in Toppenish. He was a longtime Valley resident. He worked on the family farm, was a foreman for Newhouse Ranches and completed his working career as a member of the Laborers Local 348.

Survivors include his wife, Yolanda Palomarez of Sunnyside; three daughters, Lola Serl and Toni Palomarez, both of Sunnyside, and Marina Wilcox of Yakima; two sons, David Palomarez and Harvey Palomarez, both of Sunnyside; five brothers, Wally Palomarez, Roy Palomarez, Rudy Palomarez, Nick Palomarez and Ruben Palomarez; five sisters, Teresa Anaya, Carolina Rivas, Margaret Palomarez, Susie Palomarez and Nora Palomarez; 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Viewing will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, with recitation of the rosary at 6 p.m., at Smith Funeral Home, Sunnyside. Mass of Christian burial will be at noon Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Sunnyside. Burial will follow in the Lower Valley Memorial Gardens, Sunnyside.
