Robert “Bobcat” Alvin Clift, 72, of Yakima died Sunday.

Mr. Clift was born in St. Louis, Mo. He worked for 35 years in the logging industry, operating different types of heavy equipment. He also worked on the family ranch and owned a log trucking business.

Survivors include his wife, Dianne Clift; a daughter, Sheryl Bouchey, both of Yakima; a son, Kerry Clift of Ellensburg; a brother, Harlond Clift Jr.; and two grandchildren.

The family will have a private gathering at a later date. Arrangements are by Brookside Funeral Home and Crematory, Yakima.
