Mabel “Tillie” E. Moses (Emiat/Sha-leen), 87, of White Swan died Wednesday in Toppenish. Mrs. Moses was born on the Satus. She worked as a seamstress for Moxee Industries, Bailey Corp., White Swan Furniture and retired from the Mt. Adams Furniture Co. as a supervisor in the late 1970s.
Survivors include seven sons, Dan Aguilar, Ralph Kiona and Frank Kiona, all of White Swan, Raymond Kiona Jr. of Grandview, James Kiona Sr. of Bingen, Greg Kiona of Priest Rapids and Joseph Henry of Warm Springs, Ore.; four daughters, Sandra Kiona, Debra Gunnier and Raemelle Kiona, all of Toppenish, and Beverly Lewis of White Swan; a brother, Raymond Jack of Satus; a sister, Mary Goudy of Stevenson; 31 grandchildren, 76 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Dressing services will be at 1 p.m. today at the Toppenish Creek Longhouse. Overnight services will follow. A sunrise service will be Friday in Toppenish Creek Cemetery. Arrangements are by Colonial Funeral Home, Toppenish.
