Don Lloyd Williams, 87, of Selah died Nov. 15 at home. Mr. Williams was born in Provo, Utah, and served in the Navy. He moved to McGill, Nev., and worked in a copper concentrating facility before moving to Northern California to work in a sawmill. He became a saw filer and worked at a mill in Swisshome, Ore., before being recruited to the Boise Cascade Mill in Yakima. He retired in 1986.
Survivors include his wife, Carol Williams of Selah; two daughters, Tamra Morse of Moxee and Kaylene Webb of Yaak, Mont.; four sisters, Donna Johnson of McGill, Nev., Marion Black of Crestwood, Ky., Sharon Buckley of Layton, Utah, and Joy Pritchett of Lander, Wyo.; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A Christian memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Shaw and Sons Funeral Directors, Yakima.
