Kendall Arthur Force, 48, of Yakima died Tuesday at Yakima Regional Medical and Cardiac Center. Mr. Force was born in Lansing, Mich., and raised in Weberville, Mich. He served in the Navy. In 2000 he moved to Yakima and worked as an auto mechanic.
Survivors include his wife, Angie Force of Yakima; nine children, Curtis Williams of Bellingham, Justin Force of Lewisburg, Tenn., Alex Williams, Patricia Andersen, Tyler Reid, Austin Reid, Jessica Ross, Isabella Reid and Kayla Day-Reid, all of Yakima; his parents, Jean and Milan Griffes of Perry, Mich.; a sister, Kathy Pavlica of Morrice, Mich.; a brother, Rodney Force of Bridgeton, Mo.; and six grandchildren.
Viewing will be from 1 to 7 p.m. today and from 10 a.m., to 3 p.m. Friday, all at Brookside Funeral Home and Crematory, Yakima. Memorial service will be at 3 p.m., Saturday at Tree of Life Church in Naches. Following the service, all are invited to attend a potluck dinner.
