Veronica C. Devora, 91, of Yakima died Tuesday. Mrs. Devora was born in Las Cruces, N.M., and moved to the Yakima Valley in 1940. She worked for Del Monte, retiring after 25 years.
Survivors include six daughters, Irene Villanueva and Linda Lozano, both of Toppenish, Delores Grajeda of Boise, Idaho, Marguerite Hall and Virginia Devora, both of Yakima, and Mary Heneghan of Terrace Heights; a son, Bernie Devora of Seattle; 20 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren and 17 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, with recitation of the rosary at 5 p.m., at Colonial Funeral Home in Wapato. Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Aloysius Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Elmwood Cemetery in Toppenish.
