Jasway Umtuch Jr., 53, of Harrah died Tuesday at home. Mr. Umtuch was born in Toppenish and resided in Harrah all of his life. He was employed by the Yakama Nation Housing Authority as a groundskeeper.

Survivors include his companion, Philistine Alexander of Wapato; two sons, Jasway Umtuch of Yakima and Willis Umtuch of Harrah; his mother, Evelyn Umtuch of Toppenish; two brothers, Don Hudson of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, and Ted Umtuch of Harrah; and two sisters, Rebecca Doublerunner of Harrah and Karen Umtuch of Toppenish.

Interment will be at daybreak today in the Yemowat Cemetery, west Yakima. Arrangements are by Shaw and Sons Funeral Directors of Yakima.
