Donald D. Freeman, 86, of Prosser died Thursday at Sun Terrace.
Mr. Freeman was born in Minneapolis, Kan. He lived in White Bluffs, went to school in Sunnyside and served in the Navy during World War II. He worked at Hanford as a nuclear process operator, retiring after 37 years. He lived in Richland for 21 years, Grandview for 29 and Prosser the past six.
Survivors include his wife, Phyllis Freeman of Prosser; a son, Gary Freeman of Grandview; two brothers, Clyde Freeman of Whidbey Island and Bernard Freeman of Richland; three grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 3-7 p.m. Tuesday at Prosser Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial and concluding services with military honors will follow at the Prosser Cemetery.
