Kenneth William Roy, 63, of Yakima died Thursday at the University of Washington Medical Center. Mr. Roy was born in Yakima and served in the Army during the Vietnam War. He was a hop farmer in Prosser until a farm accident forced his retirement in 1973.
Survivors include a son, Beau Roy of Yakima; two brothers, Stanley Roy of West Richland and Wesley Roy of Moxee; a sister, Carolyn Roy of Yakima; four grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
Viewing will be from noon to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at Brookside Funeral Home, Moxee. Mass of Christian burial will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at St. Paul Cathedral. Private inurnment will be in Holy Rosary Cemetery, Moxee.
