Morris C. Light, 87, of Yakima died Thursday at Cottage in the Meadow. Mr. Light was born in Concord, Ark., and moved to Yakima in 1952. He worked for the Bon Marche for 22 years before he and his brother, Howard, started Light Brothers Appliance Service.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Jo Light of Yakima; four children, Sharon Lyon, Melvin Light and George Light, all of Yakima and Clayton Light of Costa Mesa, Calif.; a sister, Avon Sybert of Fresno, Calif.; 17 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday and 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Keith and Keith Funeral Home of Yakima. Graveside service will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Terrace Heights Memorial Park followed by a memorial service at noon at the Christian Life Center, Yakima.
