Henry “Hank” Prosise, 103, died Aug. 9 at his home in Grandview.
Mr. Prosise was born in Sutherland, Neb. He was raised and educated in his home state, then worked on the construction of the Grand Coulee Dam, was employed at the shipyard in Portland, and was the manager of a diversified fruit ranch in Hood River, Ore. He was also employed by the Simpson Timber Co. for 25 years before retiring in 1975. He then settled in Grandview in 1977.
He is survived by his son, Gary Prosise of Arizona; two daughters, Francesca Prosise and Charlotte Weld, both of Prosser; seven grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Grace Fellowhip in Prosser. Prosser Funeral Home and Crematory is handling arrangements.
