Donald Joseph Irwin, 82, of Prosser died Tuesday. Mr. Irwin was born in Saginaw, Mich., and served in the Army during the Korean War. He moved to the Yakima Valley in the 1950s and worked as a cattle rancher.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Jean Irwin of Prosser; six children, Linda Baze, Lucinda Dreher and Geneva Judkins, all of Prosser, Elizabeth Linton of Kennewick, Virginia Johnson of Irrigon, Ore., and Donna Irwin of Toppenish; 20 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and a great-great-granddaughter.

Viewing will be from noon to 5 p.m. Wednesday at Smith Funeral Home in Sunnyside. Graveside service, with military honors, will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in the Lower Valley Memorial Gardens.
