James Charles Bach, 71, of Yakima died Friday at home. Mr. Bach was born in Seattle. He retired from working as a civil servant for the state Department of Agriculture.
Survivors include his wife, Frances Bach of Yakima; two sons, Dane Schmidt of Wicklow, Ireland, and Brian Kay of Bendigo, Australia; two daughters, Dawn Lord of Kamloops, British Columbia, and Jodi Fontaine of Sorrento, British Columbia; five sisters, Pauline Bach, Hope Bach, Mary Bach and Ruth Bach, all of Seattle, and Grace Bach of California; three brothers, John Bach of Seattle, Paul Bach of San Diego and Phillip Bach of Arizona; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
No services are planned. Arrangements are by Langevin-Mussetter Funeral Home of Yakima.
