Eugenio D. Villalba, 71, of Grandview died Wednesday in Yakima. Mr. Villalba was born in Chilpancingo, Mexico. He lived in the Valley for many years and worked as a laborer.

Survivors include his wife, Leopoldina Villalba of Grandview; three sons, Jose Villalba of Yakima and Adrian Villalba and Enrique Villalba, both of Grandview; four daughters, Julia Villalba, Lizzet Villalba, Marina Villalba and Christina Villalba, all of Grandview; a brother, Zacarias Villalba of Mexico; two sisters, Virginia Lopez of California and Costantina Villalba of Mexico; and nine grandchildren.

Viewing will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Monday, with recitation of the rosary at 7 p.m., at Valley Hills Funeral Home in Sunnyside. Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Grandview. Graveside services will follow in the Grandview City Cemetery.
