Frank P. Embree, 84, of Sunnyside died Wednesday in Yakima. Mr. Embree was born in Grants Pass, Ore., and attended school in Zillah. He worked for various auto body shops in the Yakima Valley and also farmed mint. In 1971, he established Franks Auto Body Repair in Sunnyside and operated it until retiring in 1993.
Survivors include his wife, Flora Embree of Sunnyside; two daughters, Pam Burton of Sunnyside and Deanna Holroyd of Vancouver, Wash.; three brothers, Ray Embree of Yakima, Jesse Embree of Idaho and Earl Embree of Selah; a sister, Ethel Fuller of Texas; and three grandchildren.
Viewing will be from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Smith Funeral Home, Sunnyside. Graveside service will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday in Lower Valley Memorial Gardens, with the funeral following at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
