Sydney Cecil Fritch Boggs, 80, of Prosser died Friday at home. Mrs. Boggs was born in Indianapolis, Ind., and also lived in St. Louis, Mo. She worked as a school secretary for the Division of Homeland Ministries of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and Christian Board of Publications in St. Louis. After retiring, she moved to Prosser, where she was executive director of Jubilee Ministries.

Survivors include three daughters, Denise Boggs of Indianapolis, Rose Boggs of Sedona, Ariz., and Marisa Marquart of Muskegon, Minn.; three sons, Arthur Boggs of Sedona, Cameron Boggs of Prosser and Daryl Boggs of Martinsville, Ill.; four sisters, Ruby Hogue, Elizabeth Davee, Gertrude Curtis and Peggy Smith; a brother, Earl Curtis; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Prosser United Methodist Church. A second memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Centenary Christian Church in Indianapolis. Arrangements are by Prosser Funeral Home.
