Darlene M. Loma, 74, of Toppenish died Thursday at Toppenish Community Hospital. Ms. Loma was born in Lapwai, Idaho and moved to the Yakima Valley in the mid ’80s. She worked for the AAOA, Yakama Nation, as a caregiver.
Survivors include her companion, Agustin Guevara of Toppenish; a son, Adrian McAtty of Toutle; a daughter, RoseAnne Kanine of Oakland, Calif.; 11 siblings; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren
Visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday at Colonial Funeral Home, Toppenish. Overnight services will be at the Pi-Nee-Waus Community Building in Lapwai, Idaho on Tuesday with burial in the Lapwai Cemetery on Wednesday morning.
