Helen Louise Pace, 83, of Grandview died Friday. Mrs. Pace was born in Danville, Ala., and later moved to Washington, settling in Wapato. She worked for J.C. Penney, Snokist Growers, Mor’s Jewelry Store and was an Avon sales representative for many years.

Survivors include two children, Curtis Pace of Zillah and Janet Neumann of University Place; five siblings, Wilson Swindell, James Swindell, Marie McMahon, Glenda Kruegar and Joyce Rambo-Helberg; and two grandchildren.

Viewing will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Friday at Smith Funeral Home, Sunnyside. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at United Methodist Church in Sunnyside. Burial will follow in Lower Valley Memorial Gardens, Sunnyside.
