Raymond Leroy Rhoades, 90, of Union Gap died Dec. 15 at Yakima Regional Medical and Cardiac Center. Mr. Rhoades was born in Topeka, Kan., and served in the Army during World War II. He worked in law enforcement in Colorado for more than 17 years.

Survivors include five children, Sandra Nenstiel of Nevada, Dale Rhoades of Oregon, Deborah Thomas of Kansas, David Rhoades of Colorado and Sharon Morrison of Yakima; two sisters, Lois and Letha of Kansas; 21 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be at 6:30 p.m. Friday at New Hope Chapel, Yakima. Inurnment will be at a later date in Leavenworth National Cemetery in Leavenworth, Kan. Arrangements are by Keith and Keith Funeral Home, Yakima.
