Mitchell Lloyd, 59, of White Swan died Friday in Toppenish. Mr. Lloyd was born in Pendleton, Ore. He was working for Yakama Nation Housing Authority as an inspector. He previously worked for the Yakama Nation as a police officer, in forest development, fire management and for Yakama Forest Products. He was also an EMT with the White Swan Ambulance.

Survivors include his companion, Loretta Smiscon of White Swan; three sons, Moses of White Swan, David of Toppenish and Desmond of Wapato; a daughter, Destiny Lloyd of Wapato; two brothers, Byron and Steve Lloyd, both of Auburn; four sisters, Lorette Abraham and Marcella Lloyd of Wapato, Ida Senator of Pendleton and Lisa Senator of White Swan.

Dressing services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Toppenish Longhouse. Overnight services will be Saturday and Sunday, with burial at sunrise Sunday in the Agency Cemetery in Umatilla, Ore. Arrangements are by Colonial Funeral Home, Toppenish.
