Juan Partida, 97, of Pasco died Wednesday in Kennewick. Mr. Partida was born in Mexico. He also lived in Edinburg, Texas, where he worked for the city. He moved to Grandview in 1962 and worked in agriculture for many years. He retired from Twin City Foods in 1985.
Survivors include nine children, Norberta Espinosa of Moore, Texas, Rodrigo Partida of Edinburg, Guadalupe Salazar of West Richland, Esperanza Ramirez of Grandview, Mauro Partida and Diana Partida, both of Pasco, Carmen Mattox of Battle Ground, Lucia Stephenson of Kennewick and Ana Maria Bhagat of Pueblo West, Colo.; 25 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday, with recitation of the rosary at 6 p.m., at Smith Funeral Home, Grandview. Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Grandview. Burial will be in the Grandview Cemetery.
