YAKIMA - Jaime Santillan, 28, of Yakima, died suddenly due to a vehicle accident Friday, November 8, 2013 in Yakima.
Jaime was born January 23, 1985 in Chelan, WA to San Juana Nunez. He was raised in Toppenish and graduated from Toppenish High School in 2003. Jaime attended Central Washington University and was to begin his third year in Winter Quarter. He wanted to study to be a cardiologist. He enjoyed being outdoors, hiking, camping, boating and playing basketball. Jaime especially loved being with his family, friends and nieces and nephews. He enjoyed reading and helping them with their homework. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Survivors include his mother, San Juana Nunez of Yakima, brothers and sisters, Fabian Santillan of California, Juan Miguel Santillan of Sunnyside, Isrrael Santillan of Yakima, Yesenia Santillan of Toppenish, Usbaldo Santillan of Kennewick and Krystal Santillan of Yakima; eight nieces and nephews, Syndy, Juan Manuel, Emily, Jeremiah, Kiara, Alex, Jasmine and Ayden. He was preceded in death by an infant sister.
Viewing will be Friday, November 15, 2013, noon until 6:00 p.m. at Brookside Funeral Home & Crematory, 500 W. Prospect, Moxee. Funeral Services and viewing will be Monday, November 18, 2013 at 12 noon at Brookside Funeral Home & Crematory. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
