NACHES, Wash. — A Naches man was critically injured Thursday night when he hit a van and rolled his truck in Naches, the Washington State Patrol reported.

Andrew Camden, 23, was headed south on South Naches Road about 10:45 p.m. when he struck the Ford van, which was parked on the shoulder of South Naches Road at Orchard Street, troopers said.

He was taken to Yakima Regional Medical and Cardiac Center, where he was listed in critical condition late Friday afternoon.

Camden’s Ford F-350 was considered a total loss. The van — driven by 45-year-old Eric Roberts of Naches — was able to be driven from the scene.

Roberts was not injured.

Camden was not wearing a seat belt; Roberts was, according to a patrol news release.

The cause of the crash was under investigation.
