ELLENSBURG, Wash. — The Kittitas County Public Health Department is offering online training starting today for food worker cards.

The training session can be accessed through www.foodworkercard.wa.gov.

The class costs $10, due upon passing the test. Arrangements cannot be made to pay later, according to a news release from the agency.

The charge will be listed as “Tacoma-Pierce County Health Department” on billing statements.

The training and test are offered in English, Cambodian, Cantonese, Korean, Mandarin, Russian, Spanish, Vietnamese and closed-caption.

Computers are available to use at the health department office, 507 N. Nanum St., Suite 102, in Ellensburg and at the Cle Elum Senior Center, 719 E. Third Ave., as well as the libraries in Ellensburg, Kittitas, Cle Elum and Roslyn. Test takers should inquire at each location about hours and copying costs.
