Federal funding will replace bridges in Ellensburg and the Cowiche area, the state Department of Transportation announced Wednesday.
Nearly $757,000 will go to replace a bridge over Cowiche Creek on Pioneer Way, near the intersection of Cowiche Mill Road and south of Cowiche.
A half-million dollars will fund replacement of the D Street bridge in Ellensburg.
The projects are among 70 across the state worth a total of $130 million, transportation officials say.
