A raid in a quiet Yakima neighborhood last week that yielded guns and nearly a pound of heroin and meth has resulted in felony charges against three people.
The three were arrested after detectives assigned to the local Drug Enforcement Administration task force raided a home last Friday in the 3500 block of Webster Avenue, located between Tieton Drive and Nob Hill Boulevard.
Agents assigned to the DEA task force reported they seized just over 200 grams of meth as well as a 12-gauge shotgun, a stolen Kel-Tec 9 mm pistol and a stolen .22-caliber rifle.
Agents also reported the discovery of just over 200 grams of heroin in a white Chevrolet Tahoe parked in the driveway.
Prosecutors on Wednesday filed charges against three occupants of the house. They are:
• Jose Trevino Gallegos, 47, charged with two counts of possession with intent to deliver heroin and meth and one count of first-degree unlawful possession of a firearm.
• Erin Kathleen Scott, 32, charged with one count of possession with intent to deliver meth and one count of second-degree unlawful possession of a firearm.
• Diesta A. Maltos, 27, charged with simple possession of heroin.
According to the DEA task force, the Tahoe was registered to Gallegos, who authorities said was in possession of a loaded Smith & Wesson 9 mm pistol when he was arrested.
Court records show Gallegos has a lengthy criminal history that includes a 2006 arrest for first-degree robbery and a 1996 conviction for residential burglary.
Scott also has several felony convictions, including car theft.
