GRANDVIEW, Wash. — The state’s grape growers — both juice and wine — will gather this week.
The Washington Grape Society will hold its annual meeting and trade show Thursday and Friday at Grandview Nazarene Church, 500 N. Elm St.
The opening speaker will be Dan Newhouse, a Sunnyside farmer and former director of the state Department of Agriculture. His presentation — “The General State of Washington Agriculture” — is scheduled for 9 a.m. Thursday.
Hours of the meeting are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
