MATTAWA, Wash. — State troopers are investigating a minor injury collision Sunday night in which one of the drivers fled the scene.

The crash happened at 9:22 p.m., when a 2000 Chevrolet Tahoe ran a stop sign on State Route 243 and crashed into a 2000 Ford pickup, which rolled over, according to the Washington State Patrol.

One Ford passenger was injured.

Six of the seven occupants of the Ford, including four small children, escaped injury. One occupant, however, 27-year-old Patricia Lepez of Pasco, was treated for minor injuries, the State Patrol said.

The as-yet unidentified driver of the Tahoe, meanwhile, ran off and is now wanted for felony hit-and-run. There was no description of the fleeing driver.

All the occupants of the truck, including Lepez, had been wearing seat belts or were in child restraint seats, the State Patrol noted.
