YAKIMA, Wash. — When Australian singer/songwriter Blake Noble made his move to the United States over a year ago, he had no idea he’d be playing his first show in Yakima.
Noble, 32, packed 5 North for his first show, and has since played at venues from 4th Street Theatre to The Seasons.
On Thursday, Noble added another venue to his Yakima checklist: the street.
Noble, joined by Portland singer Tim Snider, performed during the Downtown Summer Nights concert series in downtown Yakima. Two more concerts remain in the series of 11.
This is the first year that the city of Yakima has organized the concerts. They’re part of an effort to make downtown more vibrant.
