YAKIMA, Wash. — The price of gasoline in the Yakima area rose .3 cents in the past week for an average price of $3.34 per gallon on Sunday, according to GasBuddy.com, a website that monitors prices locally and across the nation.

There was no movement in the national average, which remains at $3.26 per gallon.

The local price was 3.1 cents lower than a year ago and 7.6 cents lower than a month ago. The national average decreased 9.3 cents per gallon this month and 6.8 cents per gallon over a year ago.
