YAKIMA, Wash. — Selah Lighting Co. is going out of business after more than 14 years, the company announced in a news release this afternoon.

“In spite of our best efforts, the current economic climate left us with no choice but to close down the business,” Cindy Deccio, who co-owns the business with husband Brad, said in the news release.

The couple opened the shop in May 1999.

The shop at 103 E. Naches Ave. will start its going-out-of business event on Friday. The sale will continue until Nov. 30 or until everything — including store fixtures — is sold.
