YAKIMA, Wash. — A group of student filmmakers from Seattle Central Community College will hold open auditions today for child actors to participate in a film set in the Yakima Valley in 1989.
The auditions, open to children 5 to 14, are set for 3 to 8 p.m. at the Warehouse Theatre, 5000 W. Lincoln Ave. In particular, children with Latino heritage are encouraged to audition.
The film, “Little Secrets,” is about a Chilean family that reunites in the Yakima Valley after the fall of Chile’s military dictator, Augusto Pinochet.
