Chatham County Line is your On Blog Pick of the Week.

I’ve been listening to their double live album “Sight and Sound” ever since they played Yakima in 2012. It is among the finest live albums I’ve heard, and the reason for that is because the band sounds so damn good live.

They play an emotionally honest, insightful brand of bluegrass-based Americana. They’re all musicians and singers. And their on-stage charisma is charming in a country-gentleman kind of way.

So go see them. They’re at The Gilbert Cellars Hacket Ranch Amphitheater, 2620 Draper Road, at 7 p.m. Saturday. Tickets are $20 in advance, $25 at the gate.
