If you’re like me, you wish you’d made it out to more of the Lunchtime Live concerts this summer. But take heart — You’ve still got one more shot.

Today’s show, featuring the Coyote Ridge Bluegrass Wranglers, was the series’ penultimate. The final show is set for Aug. 30 and will feature Chicago-style blues group the Vaughn Jensen Band.

These shows, which started in June, are a great way to get outdoors in the middle of the day and enjoy your lunch in the Yakima sunshine. And the bands, booked by local musician Navid Eliot, have been great. The series’ creator, Yakima economic development manager Sean Hawkins, said today that they’ve drawn between 100 and 200 for each show.

You can catch the year’s final Lunchtime Live concert from 11:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. next Friday.
